As all my Uniforms and Heraldry mods, this one is a wonderful lore-friendly cosmetic mod for Greenskins.
This mod was born from my disappointment about 3 important aspects:

1) Vanilla uniforms ugly appearence (in particular how the uniforms faction colors are managed).
2) Lack of more shields variants (orchish or "grobish").
3) The bad textures porting-process from WH1 to WH2 and to WH2 to WH3 (downscaled textures and wrong wsmodels shaders)

With these 3 things in mind I started this big retextures project.
I restored the ruined textures and re-worked all shields and a lot of uniforms to give a better lore-friendly look to each tribes and each units.

The results are:
- New Orcs and Goblins uniforms (finally they meet the lore standards)
- A lot of new shields texture (for each units) and a lot of variants for each tribes
- Restored some textures ruined in the "porting process" from WH2 to WH 3.
- Integrated a compatible version of Merwanor's quivers mod from " Details Matter" mod (big thanks to Merwanor)

Well, this short description is not enough to describe the big big work I've done, so I suggest to try this mod. I'm sure you will be pleased.



A lot of you know me, and you know that when I plan lore-stuffs I do lore-stuffs ...
I was a Warhammer Fantasy Battle miniatures collector and painter since I was a child. I collected a lot of miniatures of different races (Empire, Dwarves, Orcs and Goblins and High Elves).

The main guidelines I used to make heraldry and shields emblems are taken from all recent warhammer fantasy official documentations.
Every textures was wisely edited keeping always in mind these documentations and, if missing, keeping always in mind lore standards.

What does this mod do?
Well, this mod add a lot of interesting features:
- Orcs: new uniforms and shields (a lot of shields... too much shields ;) )
- Black Orcs: new reworked textures, better faction colours on Black Orcs base textures
- Goblins: new uniforms and shields (a lot of shields ... more than orcs I think xD)
- Night Goblins: new uniforms and shields (wonderful shields sets!)
- New spectacular and loreful shields sets for all shielded chavalry units (Orcs Boar Boyz, Forest Goblins Spider Riders, Goblins Wolf Riders)
- Reworked faction colours application on a lot of textures.
- Reworked almost all factions colours
- for more news read release notes


GRAPHICS AND VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS SUGGESTIONS

I suggest people to use Reshade [reshade.me]. With this new FX Injector you can directly create your custom profile.
Please, read the Reshade instructions and installation process in the official site forum.

To load the preset on Reshade click "HOME" key, then you will see a bar with a "+" at the top , click the "+" key and add my preset.

Tip: If your graphic card is NVIDIA make sure to set the "Output Dynamic Range" to FULL



This mod is a part of a big lore-friendly retextures project. Other uniforms and heraldry will be realized for other faction too and probably those graphical mod will be used for a possible new regional recruitment system... soo do not forget it! ;)

The night goblins' hoods could be changed to black like Skarsnik's?. I like using Gorbad and they look better with the black hood.

I really dislike the new look of the black orcs since Omens of Destruction. That would be nice if you could change that a little. It's especially the white stripes that are just too bright and some of the helmet are more steel grey than propa black

Hey, I wanted to report a bug. The Night Goblin Archers for the Red Eye tribe are invisible. I also located the source of the issue. In variants table the variant filename points to grn_nightgoblin_red_eye_archers but the file is named grn_nightgoblin_archers_red_eye

@Gigiauz After I just named popular GRN reskins mods below, I wonder if you could add anything you know in terms of compatbility.... It's very hard to understand which visual mods can possibly work together. What I've understood that a more detail-focused mod like yours should prob be placed ABOVE any larger Greenskins reskin like "Greener Greenskins", is that correct?
Also, is running Merwanor's "Details Collection" a problem with yours, as you integrated his GRN changes?
