Description

The original mission: Safehouse Kavala

The game mode offers players a cooperative shooter experience, where you will be in constant contact with enemies across six waves. Players must advance from point to point, breaking through hordes of enemies. Unlike the original version, which takes place in the city of Kavala, this mode is not restricted to one city, and the checkpoint locations are not tied to buildings.

Key features of this mode include:
  • Limited arsenal that expands with new weapons as players capture and hold checkpoints.
  • Enemies progress alongside the players, gaining better equipment and increasing in numbers as the waves continue.
  • Constant enemy attacks: New enemies will continuously spawn, but don’t despair! By killing enemies, you can slow down their respawn timer. If it gets too difficult, try playing defensively.
  • If you lose teammates during the battle, they will respawn after capturing and holding a checkpoint.
  • To capture a checkpoint, at least one player must stay near it for a certain amount of time. To hold it and prevent losing it, at least one player must remain within 80 meters of the checkpoint. During this time, the enemy will launch a counterattack to reclaim the position.
  • Dynamic weather and time change after each checkpoint capture.
  • Mission replay script added at the end of the mission (may not work correctly).
  • No mods required, though some are supported.

Oooo is there a way I can get those versions for the other maps? If not, its understandable :)

I don’t know an easy way to update missions on Steam. When I uploaded DRO on different maps, making changes everywhere later took an hour just to upload all the missions to the Workshop. So, I decided not to do the same with this mode and only uploaded it for vanilla maps. Of course, I have my own version of Checkpoint for other maps as well.

Ah did not know about that part since I'm so used to advanced medicine lol. My friend did add a splint to the mission but it would be pretty cool if a splint was added for those who do play with advanced medicine. By the way, any plans to port this mission and the zombie mission to more maps?

The mission is quite dynamic, so it was planned to use simplified medicine without breaking limbs, but if you need such perversions, I can add splint.

Great mission, been playing this and the other maps these past few days, however, it seems that when playing with ACE and having medical on, there is no splint in the arsenal whatsoever. Can you please add splints the arsenal? Especially since if our legs get broken, there would be no other way to fix them up.

There are no mines or mortars because it's already difficult to get through everything. And if players start getting blown up by mines as well, the chances of winning will be much lower.
