We don't know what 0dB is in UBOAT, they never tell us. So it doesn't matter what the dB values print, it's entirely arbitrary. Making use of this, I just pull down the displayed number by an arbitrary 34dB
For comparability, which is already questionable, around 26 dB must be deducted from the water noise.
84 dB water -> 58 dB air (normal conversation), with the ingame effects as example (alarm, bluelight, crew bonus, multiple ironfist) you can reduce the noise to 66 dB water -> 40 dB air (close to whispering). Kindly regards A.U.
