SNO-CAT UTV

Description
A New way to Rescue, Explore, and Transport

The Sno-Cat UTV by Aetherion Dynamics is the new best way to get around in the arctic, from its rugged articulation, to it's advanced displays, the Sno-Cat will get you where to go, when you need to be there, regardless of what is in your way. With a passenger capacity of 5, the Sno-Cat can provide warm, cozy transportation in frigid arctic conditions with its automatic heating system.

Specifications

The Sno-Cat boasts a powerful, torquey 12 cylinder supercharged modular engine, with a hefty 1400l of onboard fuel storage. The automatic 4 speed transmission allows you to cruise down smooth flats or roads at high speed, but retain control in treacherous environments. Rapid throttle response, a variable shaft brake, and an automatic hill brake give you precise control, even when going places where you cant even walk. A sophisticated info display tells the driver everything they need to know, when the need it, without them needing to take their eyes off their surroundings, painted before them with the extreme visibility offered from the front seats. Front and rear winches offer the ability to recover nearly anything, and suspension mounted rope anchors offer a secure, low-down down attachment point for pulling even heavier loads.

The four-track advantage

The Sno-Cat, equipped with four tracks and swivel-frame articulation, allows you to cross any terrain, and keep all four tracks on the ground while doing so, offering unparalleled control compared to conventional two-tracked vehicles, which cannot retain full contact when clearing hills. Additionally, four tracks allows the Sno-Cat to crab steer, which comes in handy when climbing steep hills, where turning may risk rolling over, and will allow you to reposition the vehicle with a lesser risk of rollovers. It allows makes it extremely easy to parallel park.

@Garth smol Thanks! I was considering making a flatbed, but couldnt find room. If I did I would have put the engine up front and cut the cab to half the size.

This thing is the best land vehicle i have ever driven from anyone. No like literally the only working one too this thing can go ANYWHERE! Its not glitchy it just works incredibly well. Im going to try to make a flat bed on the back that can still move with the suspension.

ik its not loud but still
Jacko  [author] 20 Oct, 2024 @ 11:38am
@shonuff electric tracked vehicles have very short range, also this engine isn't even that loud, it only runs 14 rps. electric range would likely be less then 20km, with low motor power for efficiency, so a loss in power and range.
shonuff 20 Oct, 2024 @ 10:27am
k thx its kinda loud and an electric one will make it so much better
gillbags 20 Oct, 2024 @ 10:15am
Im gonna try

@shonuff Its already pretty inefficient with a diesel, probably better to not make it electric
