Are you one of those who thinks the new 2025 Freightliner Cascadia looks weird with the Mirror Cameras and the Physical Mirrors at the same time? Well, here is the solution for you.

This mod adds a new option for the mirrors that only includes the Mirror Cameras and the Digital Screens inside.

For now it only works with the Sleeper cabs, i plan to add it to the Day Cab later, and maybe more options with a cap/cover where the Physical Mirros are mounted so it doens't look so empty, if you want painted and chromed version of the Cameras let me know.

One thing needs to be changed: IF you ONLY want to use a mirror cam, you should also change the camera position, i.e. the position from where the game records the rear view in the mirror! BECAUSE IF you change the angle of the mirror in the mirror settings, THE CAMERA SHOULD NOT BE VISIBLE IN THE MIRROR IMAGE.

BECAUSE SCS Soft ALREADY MADE THIS BUG, as they simply use the same position from which the image is projected backwards in the mirror for the old school mirror, as well as the mirror cam, which uses the SAME POSITION, PRETTY STUPID!!!

I hope you'll take a look at this and change the position from which the image for the mirror cam is taken so that you DO NOT see the mirror cam housing in the monitor!

Thanks, SCS Soft can do better than that, but I DON'T expect such mistakes from a modder.

I've finally found the MOD I was looking for, as the original SCS mirror cams in the Cascadia 2025 are getting on my nerves.

However, in your MOD, as with the original SCS mirror cams, I removed this stupid interior camera for the side view via a save game edit:

Removing it turns off the screen. This permanently switched-on side view really annoys me. SCS Soft has built in the option. Like in the MAN 2020, you can turn the front camera on and off via button assignment for the infotainment system. And then once again they fail to take advantage of their own capabilities. ANNOYING of SCS Soft. Save Game Edit and get rid of it. But whatever.

Thanks for your MOD. Mirror Cams WITHOUT those concealed side mirrors are a great thing.
