Description
AW-19 Attack Helicopter
Overview
This is a single seater attack helicopter designed with the specific idea of having as few buttons as possible to operate. AW-19 is armed to the teeth with weapons and features little to no button pressing while in combat! The helicopter is also designed to be balanced with no need to a control system to operate making it extremely acrobatic. You can throw this heli into barrel rolls and backflips all day WITHOUT the GYRO on! The heli features A swivel turret, 6 machine guns, 8 rocket pods, 4 radar guided missiles, and 9 dumb bombs (with a sight). There is no xml other than the windows. Missiles, weights, rotors, and engine are all stock game!

The missiles are not linked to the helicopter with any logic. They are stock missiles that are basically garbage, so if you would like to swap them for your own it is easy!



Logic
AW-19 was designed to incorporate as few button presses as possible while in combat, for this reason many things are automated. The engine has no manual throttle, the camera's will turn to infrared automatically during night, counter measures are automatic, and the hud will display nearly all required info.

Operations
    AW-19 Startup
  1. Turn the key "Engine ON/OFF"
  • Turret Swivel button - will unlock the front swivel turret. This will change the controls for the helicopter to use WASD for turning and pitch and roll. It will free the front turret to follow your mouse aim, and it will turn the triggers for the machine guns off. This is so your mouse hand can be freed up to aim while flying. (Gyro is reccommended in this mode
  • Radar missiles - The hud will display "Target Found" when there is a target within range for the Radar Guided Missiles, it will also start a constant buzzing tone.
  • Counter Measures - Counter Measures are automatic, The heli has 8 chaff flares and will launch when it sees a radar signal locking on. The hud will also give a warning "Lock Warning" and it will start a beeping tone as an audible warning.
  • Bombs - The 2 button will switch the camera to the bomb sight and unlock the bomb button. The drop bomb button will drop all 9 warheads in a sequence between the two horizontal bars on the bomb sight.

Where is it supposed to be parked on the carrier? Is there a designated space for it?

Also I put your 6X6 APC on the barge lol it somehow fits and im putting a couple jetskis or something behind it, or maybe ill undo that and put a heli on it. so many ideas

Question, does anything other than probably the drone heli or other tiny heli fit on the elevator? (Yes the drone fighter and probably a couple others do fit but barely and the mags cant lock them)

Nvm it fits on the deck but not small enough to go down the elevator

Nvm I just found the fold rotor button i didnt even know that was in the game, i now know how to get it under the deck to land planes

Also I know it fits on the carrier its on it rn, but where are you supposed to land it on the carrier? It takes up half the deck and you can't land it on the X's because the rotors hit the tower.

Please for the love of god add a mute button or list it in the controls it wont shut up while I'm landing on the carrier and even after I've landed
