The SCI-03 was built to replace the aging SC-03's in service with many if not all SC-03's being melted down to field these newer variants. With most of the SC-03's in services basically non-existent the Imposer name was given to this aircraft because of many similarities it had with the original aircraft. This aircraft improves on many of the problems such as limited payload by increasing the payload from one missile to eight. Also this new aircraft fields the more agile LYDS-D missiles over the LYDS-C missiles.
