Depth of Field

Description
This map is a topographic conversion of the original Hünfeld/Burghaun region of '89 near Point Alpha in the Fulda Gap. It is the place where the first 24 hours of the third World War would have been fought.

The map name is a hint to, the for WARNO unusual, use of heights and irregular terrain that comes from using actual real life height mapping which enables unique maneuvering and unexpected attack directions.

It comes with a number of different Scenarios;

  • 4vs4 Conquest & Destruction
  • 3vs3 Conquest & Destruction
  • 2vs2 Conquest & Destruction

Immediately my favourite map of the game, played with 2 other buddies against some AI and had an absolute blast. Each side is diverse and unique and holy hell i took the city and havent had that much fun in urban combat in ages.

Hotfix update applied. They also changed something in the way LoS are baked into the map it seems. Please notice me of any bugs that are occuring after that patch...

Sound bug should be fixed now ... hopefully | messaged eugen for clarification since it appearantly only happens in mp!
