Important! : Main mod is needed to run this. This is a submod. You can find both in the official collection.

As a special gift for the holiday season I present to you Celebration Edition submod for Rise of the Crime Lords in honor of the amazing reception the mod got since its release on steam. Thank you all!

This submod enables the Pyke Sydicate, Mandalorian Clans and Separatist Holdouts as playable factions in Galactic Conquest and Skirmish

It should be considered more of a demo and a thank you for all the support as those factions still have very limited rosters.

Galactic Conquest (two maps only):
1) Battle for the Underworld
2) Tactical Training scenario

Skirmish:
1) Mandalorians playable on ground and in space
2) Separatists playable on ground and in space
3) Pykes playable on ground and in space

Note that on maps where you are playing as one of the primary mod factions (Black Sun, Hutts, Consortium, Empire or Rebels) they will still act as a minor faction without a dedicated galactic AI. Also, they will have extremely limited AI in skirmish. Upgrades may come in the future.

In addition, all Mandalorian and Separatist units are no longer unlockable by other factions.

Best way to run the submod is the following:

1) Go to your Steam library and select "Add a Game"
2) Select "Add a Non-Steam Game"
3) Click "Browse..." and navigate to your library folder "....\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption"
4) Select StarWarsG.exe
6) Click "Add Selected Programs"
7) StarWarsG should appear in your library.
8) Right-click on it and select "Properties"
9) You can now rename the Steam Library item any way you like, change its icon...etc (Suggestion: name it "STAR WARS Empire at War: Rise of the Crime Lords CE" then click on the icon and replace it with the included modicon.png located in "...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\32470\3356133637")
10) Under "LAUNCH OPTIONS" paste this code
STEAMMOD=3356133637 STEAMMOD=2361944372

Important stability notes (use only if having stability problems):
1) This mod was made for the x64 release (nov. '23 and newer), make sure your game is fully updated.
2) If you have any other mods directly implemented (not trough workshop or the "Mods" folder) I cannot guarantee compatibility or stability. Best way is to keep your base game clean and play all mods trough alternative launch methods.
3) The game has indexing problems when you have a larger number of saves, clean them up regularly for improved stability. I recommend never having more than 10, even less is preferable. This is mostly affecting multiplayer saves but it's also possible it might affect singleplayer.
4) Mods are most stable on English versions of the game, localizations tend to cause unexpected problems.
5) Turning off cloud saves may improve save/load stability/speed.
6) Regularly update the mod to get the latest fixes and improvements.
7) Follow the implementation guide above, all internal testing is done trough that launch method and it should be most stable.

I installed the other mod as instructed and after starting GC within about 8 to 10 seconds playing as the Mandalorians the game just crashes. Suggestions?

Space Skirmish doesn't work. Space station doesn't spawn in or The AI does nothing.

Hey Just wondering if there's a way to counter the death star as the CIS-Holdout worlds, and other factions in the game other than the vanilla heroes like rouge squadron, and IG-88?

the variety is just insane, fought like 4 diffrent factions

Okay, so in the base mod, you can get a bunch of ships I can't in this version. For example as Zan Consortium I can produce the Droid-ships at Hypori and the other planets that are Separatist Holdouts.

Also some of the maps have annoying visual "effects" by far the worst is the "Anaxes Asteroids". During ground battles basically everything is black and I have to fight exclusively using the minimap.


Finally I don't understand why this version has only two GQ Szenarios, when it is implemented, that you can't play a scenario with a faction that doesn't work on that map.

Over all I like most of what this (and the main mod) does.

New factions in this submod have no tech levels at this moment so I recommend starting at tech 5.
