Description
The Legacy Paints are Considered to be Discontinued and exist to prevent breaking of peoples builds. Use at your own risk.


Paint set
Simple paint and Simple flake Paint : a Super basic Paint similar to the PBR paint a lot of people like to use.
Legacy Fake Metallic paint : a step above the Simple paint intended to mimic Metallic finish paint without flake. The Pearlescent finish won't export.
Legacy Glitter Paint: Paint that looks kinda like glitter paint. The Pearlescent finish won't export but the glitter will.
Legacy Metallic Flake Paint: My take on metallic flake paint. Many many sliders to mess with. The Pearlescent finish won't export but the flake does. Kinda…

Camo paint : a two tone camo set with multiple pattern options and exporter support.
Cloth Camo : same as the Paint just with a cloth finish.

Seat cloth: a set of matching cloth options with many many patterns.

it has something to do with the fix we have to add for the new chassis slot on the alpha. idk if its because we have to use a workaround or not but at pressent im not sure how to look into fixing it.

Seems to be semi-broken on patch 6, the paint doesn't show in the inside of the car (but does show outside)

forgot to mention but usually on pbr mod the specular at 49% fixes these issues

can we get a slider for specular like in the pbr paint mod, because the colors are reacting weird with glass and similar materials

thats alright, ill use simple flake for the time being, but yeah this is the only issue i have with the mod, everything else is great so far

the legacy paints have been a right pain. and they randomly broke on me. did my best to put them back together but its why simple flake exists. ill try and look into it when im done with the current project im working on is done again.

idk what happened but day 1 the colors were amazing, but every update since it just made them worse, now the colors lost most of their sharpness and look like they are opaque, and even with all the slider tweaking it doesnt leave entirely, idk how to even work around this

day one the paints looked great and you could leave them like the bottom pic with the reflections being really nice, now even if you leave roughness at 0 it still looks like its opaque, as if you havent turned the slider down to zero, thats the only thing that is killing this mod to me
