Description
Introducing the Orbit Outboard Motor, a versatile propulsion system designed for small vessels like RIBs. Ideal for rescue boats, lifeboats, or quick transportation, this motor offers:
  • Easy integration into your own creations
  • Manual and electric start options
  • Reversible throttle for forward and reverse motion
  • Secondary fuel tank for extended range
  • Demonstration float included for testing
The Orbit Outboard Motor was for example used in the Mahi from EINSCHLAG.

Measurements
  • Height: 7 + 1 reserved
  • Length: 7
  • Width: 5

Startup Procedure
  1. The engine comes attached to a simple float for demonstration purposes.
  2. By default, the engine has no battery, but you can add one to your craft as needed.
  3. The float has a battery, turned off by default, allowing you to test starting the engine with or without onboard power.
  4. Grab the handle on the example float (you can switch to any control seat and it does not have to be directly attached to the engine).
  5. Press the throttle up or down while cranking the engine; this will generate power.
  6. While holding the throttle and cranking, press the engine start button. The engine will start.
  7. If battery power is available and turned on, simply press the engine start button to start the engine directly without cranking/throttling.
  8. To reverse, just apply negative throttle.

Using the Secondary Fuel Tank
  1. The engine is equipped with a secondary fuel tank.
  2. Use the main fuel tank until you reach a critical fuel level, indicating the point of no return.
  3. Switch to the secondary fuel tank to ensure you have enough fuel to return safely.
