Description
This is a mod just for fun. I was experimenting with velocity scripts, & suddenly there's a crazy idea coming to my head:
"What if you can make zombies fly away with it? Wouldn't it look fun & crazy...?"

& yeah, in the end I made it...for fun... So, this mod allows survivor to throw special infected & tank away simply by shooting them. If you have a bad day & bad mood, & then you want something fun, just try this, & shoot SI & tank till they believe they can fly, & believe that they can touch the sky. Or you can play tennis with tank, with car, forklift etc as the ball :D .

There are only 3 features available on "funny guns.txt" cfg file:
  1. Funny Guns Mode: This controls whether it only affects SI, or also tank & movable objects.

  2. Funny Guns Pushback Power: How strong the pushback power of the funny guns are. The value can be set to minus, but then the SI, tank & objects will come to the shooter instead of getting thrown away.

  3. Panic At The Zombie Disco: Inspired by a band name. This is a safety measure when survivors reach rescue unit & trigger rescue cutscene. When rescue cutscene is triggered, all common infected & witch in area will continuously stumble (dance), while SI & tank will keep jumping high.

So, don't forget to have fun & laugh when playing games :D .

NOTES:
  • A video preview will be added later.
  • Velocity on SI & tank won't be activated when they're stumbled because of explosive ammo or some mods that allow guns to stumble special infected & tank. So, make sure that you have no explosive ammo or mod with stumble effect to enjoy the fun of sending SI & tank to the sky.

You should make another script just for stumbling CI. Them stumbling when they get shot is actually a really nice feature and adds to the game IMO.

@something something house , the "funny" here is about special infected & tank that are sent flying when shot, & also zombie's behavior during rescue scene that either stumbles or jumps continuosly as if they're dancing. Anyway, that kind of feature you thought of is actually possible to create though, with "RandomInt" function to randomize guns on each pick.

Huh so this isn't what i expected
When i saw funny guns i thought about guns scripts gettin randomised, like the weapons script would randomized itself whenever you pick up a gun (like picking up pistols would randomly turn it into a combat shotgun)

@AlfredENeuman , omg you even have mod plans for more than 1 year ahead. I also have some plans related to some of my mods with special effects (like this one too) but I'm still not sure when I'll make them, as most of them are still in the shape of concepts. Probably many of them will be released in the next year. Well, just take your time, & make mods only when you're not too busy. I also make mods in my free time, as we still need to focus on what's in real life first. I'm looking forward to your mutation mod where there'll be special infected invasion then, as it looks fun to fight lots of special infected.

I don't know if it will ever happen because I can't predict the future, but I do plan a mutation for 2026 where there are no commons at all but LOTS of special infected (and lots of other changes of course.) I've finished 11 projects that will be released next year starting 1/25 and then each month after on the 25th, and four that will be released in 2026. And I'm working on two others for 2026 and plan on creating 4 more for that year IN ADDITION to my big project which I haven't even started yet (though I've written down ideas for it.) The mutation I released today will be the last one I release this year but I'm VERY busy as always.

@AlfredENeuman , btw about the "Illegals" mutation mod, I think it's also fun if there are lots of special infected. Imagine it with Hard Eight or Special Delivery where many special infected confronts survivors. Probably later you can make another version with special infected if you want.

@AlfredENeuman , it's fine, no problem. I also uploaded this one without an exact plan (like, originally I wanted to upload yesterday or 2 days ago, but somehow I still needed time to fix some bugs, & it only finished today), so it's a pure councidence. As for gamemaps, there's an updated audio feature about AI podcast that give some comments & responses about mod like how real people do in a podcast. As for the specific ones, probably it's better to talk about it via chat.
