Main menu/garage from Need For Speed: Shift and Shift 2: Unleashed, which is ported with enthusiasm to a source engine.

Features:
  • LDR and HDR full support with cubemaps
  • Manually recreated menu interface with original fx and camera angles
  • To enter menu again, simply walk/fly out of map bounds
  • Original spooky ambience from Shift 1
  • BMW M3 GT2 reference car (can be turned off and replaced by your car)
  • Poseable glowing sprite for Shift 1
  • Switchable lights for Shift 2

Credits and facts:
  • Shift is very fun to play with steering wheel, I really like it!
  • Porting of Shift 1 animated background was a pain in the butt
  • Menu logic was made with pure hammer I/O (again)
  • Original models and textures: Slightly Mad Studios
  • Ripping, extracting and porting audio and texture assets, modelling, texturing, mapping, compiling, recreating of UI, optimizing, testing: GAnimator
Almost all models and textures rights belongs to Slightly Mad Studios and Electronic Arts
