the Japanese are one of the few nations to express interest in the V-22 throughout it's long, turbulent development and eventual deployment. Japan took delivery of the first aircraft in mid-2020 and has operated the type with both it's Ground and Maritime branches.

This livery is representative of a V-22 used by the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force, with liberties taken for the Av42C's unique shape and proportions. National insignia present.
