Description
Sieges take a long time in Attila and while that might be historically accurate, it's no fun for those of us who dislike city battles. Whether that is because of the AI struggles on these maps, the chokepoints or because we're using cavalry only armies.

This mod does a few things to make them faster or avoid them altogether:
  1. Reduce the base amount of time until siege attrition kicks in from 4 to 1 turns, less isn't possible to mod in.
  2. Reduce the amount of attrition suffered per turn from 50% of defenders to 25% (this was only 15% in Rome 2).
  3. Make it much more likely the AI will choose to sally out when defending an unwalled settlement.
I realize some of you might not like point 2 as it actually increases the time to completely starve out defenders but imo 50% of defenders lost per turn is completely ridiculous and broken since with my mod they start suffering these losses after only 1 turn. Should you wish for a mod without this change or perhaps even higher attrition numbers, let me know.

This mod should be completely compatible with all campaigns and with all mods which don't touch siege holdout time and attrition, including large overhauls like MK1212. Mods that do touch those values won't make your game crash, they'll just overwrite mine unless you load mine last, then it should work with literally everything.
