Received permission from Oskar for the continuation (thanks ferny!)

Previous version was reported incompatible with Performance Fish, but this does not appear to be the case for 1.5. (At least, not JUST Fish alone)

Possibly/likely incompatible:

VFE Insectoids 2 (most likely in combination with other mods, loaded ok on a small list)
HAR races

Testing has shown incredibly inconsistent results. Combinations of mods seem to cause problems.

This storyteller makes pretty deep changes to the game. Accordingly, this mod is presented as-is. It is highly unlikely I will do any compatibility or additional work on it.

Vanilla Storytellers Expanded is a mod series featuring standalone storytellers, bringing new, unique mechanics to the game.

"Oskar Obnoxious holds no regard for ongoing stories. Things will turn on their heads countless times before a colony goes down in flames. Frequently released Patch notes can alter the values of the game, changing almost anything in the game completely by a random number."

Oskar Obnoxious comes with the following traits:

Patch Notes
This storyteller releases patch notes every few days, changing the game drastically. Patch notes change random values of random Defs into random numbers. This can result in items becoming incredibly unbalanced, overpowered or worthless.

Hard Difficulty
This storyteller has hard difficulty. It will favour bad events, and any events that happen are tailored to your colony based on it’s wealth, past events, amount of colonists and other factors.

Random Events
This storyteller will fire random events without any regard for how your colony is doing. Whilst the events still scale with wealth, their type - good, neutral, bad - is completely random, just like with Randy.

Thanks for updating this. Was playing with Randy Random on my new playthrough after taking a break from RimWorld and couldn't stand how his events don't actually feel random.

Obnoxious was always the GOAT and should honestly be in the vanilla game. Was going to stop playing when I saw the OP hasn't updated him to 1.5 yet, but you came through saving the day! :praisesun:

Thanks for the report ... frankly, we've seen weird stuff - like 5 mods where, if you remove any one of them, it loads. I don't understand the code as well as I'd like yet, so this is very much an as-is proposition. Any info on incompatible mods might be useful though!

Game fails to boot with this mod loaded, I have Insectoids 2 as well as 293 other mods though.
