Dark Energy Construct : Dark Fusion Reactor [Reactor Sandbox Map]

Description
THE INTERACTIVE REACTOR MAP

ALMOST all contents are packed into BSP. Includes content from Black Mesa, CS:S, Half-Life 2
However, there is something that AREN'T packed in which is some particle effects (from HL2) and Reactor Core Shader (from HL2) Read more about this way below

Music CAN be adjusted. Just use the game option in the menu. Recommended sound setting is : 100% Game sound and 40% Music

Some "built-in" lore
Dark Energy Construct Offworld Research Settlement
The massive city dedicated for Dark Energy Research and combine reverse engineering that is established on another planet far away from Earth. Owned by the surviving human civilization.

This map takes place in the Sublevel-7 of the Citadel (Which was also reverse engineered), 1.8 km below the surface. Down there, lies the Prototype Annihilation-Catalyzed Dark Fusion Reactor they've been working on for so long.

This reactor is not the same type of reactor found inside the original combine citadel. The core doesn't have to come from the Combine Homeworld, it is created right in this place.
It requires just the appropriate "Dark Fusion Fuel" and large amount of Antimatter in order to start an elusive Dark Fusion Reaction potentially generating an insane amount of power that is nearly enough to sustain the entire planet as long as it has enough power to kick start the process.

MAP FEATURES
- The Annihilation-Catalyzed Dark Fusion Reactor.
- Event Sequence with music and Facility announcement. (Startup Procedure, Shutdown Procedure)
- 4x Particle Enrichment Systems. (To produce AN-Fuel and DF-Fuel)
- Main Control Room with large screens that actually changes as the reactor operates.
- Super Dark Map, can't afford lightning.
- A really big and dark metal ravine.
- Kind of decorated a bit. This map's main focus is functionality, not aesthetic. So there's some empty spaces. But this is a sandbox game so... yeah. You know what to do.
- A Residence Building just for chilling around. in the middle of darkness.
- Several high speed elevators and tons of verticality. NPCs be crying on this one.
- Train Platform and Trains passing by.
- Supply Train that can be called every 20 minutes to deliver Inactive Fuel Cells.
- Coolant waste water at the bottom of the map.
- There is Navmesh and also should have AI Nodegraph.
- Not a lot of secrets. Yeah totally, I spent all my time on the reactor system.
- The atmosphere changes as the reactor superstructure get stressed out.
- Debris that falls from the top as the place is falling apart.
- The lights that flickers (Disable it in admin room if this cause a lot of lag)
- THE FULL MELTDOWN SEQUENCE
Have 2 endings. One of them is tied with a very time-sensitive and annoying stressful gameplay.
- Ear Destroyer Explosion Sounds.
- An Admin Room at the very top of the map corner, only reachable using noclip.

HOW TO OPERATE
You can figure that our on your own, it could be more fun that way. But if you really want to know right now, you can consult this half-baked manual I made :
Reactor Operation Manual [drive.google.com]

You can also watch the video attached if you don't care about spoilers.

The Lags
Yes, you will lag. A lot.
This map have intensive amount of logic entities and logic clock. Some relay might have over 30 triggers.
The entire map is also one huge named lightmap, allowing the lights to turn on or off but will occasionally cause some lightning issue on props. It will not happen all the time.

The more addon you have, the extra lags you'll get. I tried 196 Addons, then threw myself into the reactor core.
If you're playing with a lot of addons, consider disabling the light flickering and enabling fast debris cleanup in the admin room.

AI NODEGRAPH
Since I'm lazy^2 and didn't bother placing the actual ai nodes in Hammer and used in-game method of manually creating the entire nodegraph using Nodegraph Editor+ addon.
When you first load the map there's a decent chance that it will rebuild the nodegraph and gives you an empty nodegraph where all the npcs are braindead navigation-wise. To counter this, open the console and enter "ai_norebuildgraph 1" BEFORE loading the map. If it still won't work, try going into the garrysmod/maps/graph folder, find and delete the "gm_darkfusion.ain" if it exists which has 1-2 KB size then try again.
When entering the map you should NOT see the "nodegraph out of date, rebuilding" message.
Enter "ai_show_connect" to check if the graph is now there.

Notes
BE GENTLE WITH THE CONTROL. You'll never know when it'll break or where I slip up. The thing is one big super complicated Logics.
The whole thing is built with source engine's I/O System. No lua code is used in this map aside from some commands.
There might be some buggy situation such as the Particle Enrichment System making no sense or having incorrect stress rate or just outright breaking apart. It took me almost 2 days to try and fix that damn thing. I don't know if something slips out of my radar.

About the contents I couldn't pack into BSP
There is a substitute for HL2EP1's Core Shader which is this mod :
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3179508890
The Reactor core in this map is already positioned correctly from the start.
But if you already have HL2 mounted, just use HL2.

As for HL2EP2's Particle Effects it will actually requires HL2 to be mounted and have this mod enabled :
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=132403761

But the map should function as it should without these two. Just without the cool visual effects.

Anyone else finding this incredibly hard, following the manual, i still cannot find the fuel things nor an airlock - please, could you potentially, maybe add some signs to the game? Maybe even some maps around the place?

Too much work to overload the reactor, I just want the reactor to already be on and to enter 666 like that level from the ending of hatred.

The Reactor Purge 75% chance is bugged and will always fail. The force fail button has never been pressed. Theres no way im this astronomically unlucky to get 5 faliures in a row lol
