Lathe-Womb Orbital (fly-through ver)

Description
Disclaimer: This is a aesthetic focused station built for the DX Expanse server, in the style of the protomolecule orbitals used by Laconia, as seen in the books and TV show.
This version uses a fly through welding zone rather than a rotor-glass printer. The approximate cross section of what can be welded is a 29x29 block circle.
Warning: This variant requires more welders than one player is allowed, and thus will require cooperation from faction-mates.

History:

The Lathe-Womb orbital represents an incredible, even terrifying, leap forward in the advancement of the human race; and the Laconian Empire in particular.
When the damaged ring-builder orbital was discovered by the science ship Alba, it was largely dysfunctional - its growth aimless and sporadic. Once interfaced with a suitable catalyst subject, it began to assimilate the Alba. This, however, would be to the advantage of Laconia. The brave crew managed to tame the infection and hijack the orbital's control systems - becoming able to direct the structure to their, and thus Laconia's - will.
Once the necessary biomechanical organs were repaired, the newly forged Lathe-Womb orbital was able to begin construction - or rather gestation - of a new lineage of advanced starships.
This would be the dawn of Laconia's rise to power; as they ushered forward a new age of humanity. The vessels created by the Lathe-womb would be the best of both worlds: the unwavering resilience of human engineering, and the esoteric and reality warping machinery of the fallen alien super-race in who's footsteps Laconia would trace.
Long live High Consul Duarte, glory be to Laconia.
