This mod simply make it possible for converting the ideologies of prisoners and slaves to any ideologies you want, since there is no reason for keeping the slave to have the same ideologies with colonists, because, you know, they are just slaves.

How to Use:
Open the social tab of the pawn, choose the ideo under the certainty bar (the same position of the change role button), and all the conversion including normal proselytism, conversion ability and conversion ritual will set this ideo as target.

Also with this mod you can create custom ideos as many as you want, therefore actually you can custom the ideo of your prisoners and slaves. To prevent bug, please finish the ideo creation process once you click the make custom ideo button.

Safe for mid-game saves


  • See if the the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.

  • Post your error-log using HugsLib or the standalone Uploader and command Ctrl+F12

@mlie i know you have some familiarity with CE, right? Do you think this is possible to update? The mod is CE Custom Ammo. I appreciate your time and dedication to keeping mods alive!

This is a must have mod with royalty ideo traits, my slaves are always complaining to cleaning the floors. Thx!

Also, having multiple Custom Ideologies is not present in the base game. You can dev mode edit a seperate faction’s ideology into one you want to use, but what if you don’t want a whole other faction to use your custom ideology?

I'd personally would did some form of debuff if pawn is converting to ideo, that is not his. Makes more sense in my mind.

Correction: you can only convert to ideologies, found among your pawns, who are capable (and assigned to) wardening jobs. For example: you can have a separate ideology for your slaves, but to convert new prisoners into it takes a FREE non-slave pawn, capable of social and assigned to warden job, following the said ideology. Why would I want a free person with cattle mentality in their head roaming around? Thanks a LOT for updating this!

@LouIdZarcs If it is I havent found it. In my tests you can only convert to ideologies present in your colony.
