ARTEMIS DYNAMICS© - Lunar Exploration Vehicle

Description
Artemis Dynamics© - the Lunar Exploration Vehicle

Artemis Dynamics©, your path to the stars
Following Humanity's celebrated return to the moon in 2028, the growing need for lunar-based infrastructure paved the way for a new frontier of space-commercialism.

Artemis Dynamics©, although new to the industry, proved itself to be a more than capable contender in the field

In the early 2030’s, Artemis Dynamics© collaborated with the newly-created North Atlantic Lunar Council to debut its pioneering L.E.V., the Lunar Exploration Vehicle.

The L.E.V proved to be a vital instrument for the Council, advancing the frontier of lunar exploration.

Personal Note
This is officially my first workshop build, it also happens to be my first fully completed Stormworks build lol. I’ve spent a total of ~200+ hours on this single build, since I’m fairly new to stormworks (~400 hours) I took this opportunity to learn as much as I could. I probably spent a third of the build time learning how to code all the screens in Lua but I had a blast doing so.

I learnt so many new ways of optimizing my code that the first code I made became entirely obsolete by the time I had implemented another feature, this went on and on until I finally said “enough is enough” and was satisfied.

I have so many new Ideas, amongst them, a mobile base (next project M.H.M), I would love to hear all your feedback so that I can use it for my next builds.

Thank you for reading this, have a wonderful day!

Thank you to Rockford Engineering Division - (By HealthyHenry) for lending me your diesel-generator
the "Compact Generator MK X" as well as acting as my test-dummy for whenever I needed testing done.

@chadejohns Sure, go ahead man! I might update this once I release my M.H.M in a few weeks but until then feel free to upload a customized version, I'd appreciate if you included a link to the original though :)

can i repost a version with air refill hose, i will give credit and link to original build

ok then, and good luck getting though the block. i have had days of that as well and it just sucks.

@Lechkingoddead I probably wont make any updates to the L.E.V until I'm finished with my current build, I have been struggling with motivation as is trying to make slow but steady progress on the M.H.M. The plan is, however, to implement communication features between the two so I will make some updates to the L.E.V, might as well look into refueling the O2, since it's probably fairly easy to just add a refill port on the side.
lechkingofdead 1 Apr @ 1:52pm
so no refiting for o2 refilling? or is it being fixed.
Mr.Binks  [author] 1 Apr @ 9:36am
@vortex, It appears that I forgot to add a port for refueling oxygen lol. It was probably an oversight because the oxygen inside the cabin will last for irl days, likewise the oxygen required to run the diesel motor. I'll make sure to add some refueling ports for oxygen on my next build!

How do I refill its oxygen tanks?
lechkingofdead 25 Mar @ 5:26pm
you have put 200 hours of wonderful wrok in the rover a few hickups working on the moon but its overall DOES work.

how to start?
Mr.Binks  [author] 9 Mar @ 4:25am
@Ogerpon_fan_1851, @DukeOfCheese I simply spawn it in the same way you do big creations, via addons. I'd like to think that were this to be somewhat realistic it would be transported via unmanned cargo spacecrafts. You could try and make a rocket to transport it to orbit. In stormworks propellant won't be an issue, but irl it would probably have to rendevouz with a translunar cargo ship.
