On December 23, 2559, one of the largest wars of the century ended — the war of Byzantium with the All-Soviet state, which claimed the lives of 20 million people. The technological progress of mankind stopped back in 2040 as a result of the nuclear conflict. Civilizations were able to revive only in the middle of the 25th century, and since then have not made a significant step forward in the development of technology. There is a sharp deterioration in relations between the All-Soviet state and the Fifth Reich, which may lead to a new bloody war comparable in scale to the Byzantine-All-Soviet War.
