Stealth Sniper single player missions

Description
Evade enemy patrols under the darkness of night in a forest to assassinate an officer with suppressed weapons and enhanced weapon optics. Get to the quadbike and escape.

Having infiltrated AAF territory at night, you are on a hunt and kill mission to assassinate a high ranking officer in the area. You have to sneak past enemy patrols in the dark, recon the area and locate the officer, then kill him with your method of choice (sniping, explosive trap, hit n run..). Then you must get to the quadbike and escape. After killing the officer, an alarm will sound and a patrol will come for you while all enemies go on alert. You have a choice of weapons/scopes/mines in containers at the start that have been tailored for the mission including DMRs, Carbines, and the subsonic/close-range ASP-1 Kir semi-automatic rifle. Marksmen DLC weapons included.

I meticulously design and build my missions for immersion, believable realism, and enjoyable gameplay by intricately manipulating every aspect of a scenario from weather to AI placement to loadout to objectives to briefings to scripting. Every rating helps.

No mods or DLC required.

There is a day version of this mission's concept with a different location, mission objectives, weapons, AI placement, story, visual design, and gameplay.

I have been considering those yes. Especially with Arma 2 assets because they have the ghillie wrap sniper rifle which is awesome.

the first time is saw him was when he walked in the middle of the ditch with the road to his right, that is where I wanted to place the tripwire, I'll unpbo the mission and check it in the editor on how u did it

as for sniper missions, if u ever get the chance, would u consider maybe modded scenarios, like RHS or CUP units, possible even the cdlcs like Global Mobilzation or Prairie Fire, opens up a ton of options

The most time consuming part of these missions is location scouting, designing objectives that fit the terrain, and placing enemies in good locations. Other than that, there isn't much to do. I have done something like the first mission before, about 10 years ago for a 12 player coop mission (9 snipers, 1 mortar, 2 helicopters) on Altis, but it wasn't very good.
I have a few more missions in the pipeline (just ghillie stealth missions), but I don't know when I will complete them if ever. Why don't you tell me what you want, which part of the map to place it, and I will prioritize that mission.

I'm glad you enjoyed these missions. I'm not sure why the patrol path changed, it isn't supposed to change and the officer just follows the same path of checkpoints in a cycle. Perhaps you can tell me more about where you saw him walk, and where his new path was. I killed him with the claymore myself on his second round.
I am not playing much Arma at this time unfortunately. I was looking for a job when I created these missions, and now that I have them I don't think I will have time to create something of this quality until I get a break.

Request for a sniper mission:
-One where player has to get to a specific area, takeout targets and provide overwatch for friendlies

-Maybe a sniper duel where the player has hunt and counter-sniper the enemy

hell yeah, replayed this one again, officer's initial patrol switches and he never retakes it apparently, wanted to tripwire his ass lol

I made some changes to the loadout and the starting equipment, as well as the darkness of the night that I believe make a more challenging and thrilling atmosphere for the mission.

Glad to hear you like it. This is one of my favourite missions that I just replay by myself in different ways. I tried killing the officer with a claymore to stay undetected, it was pretty fun.

Unfortunately the scripting for multiplayer is more complicated than for SP and I don't have the time to polish it. But yeah I could release an unpolished multi version if you want.
