Description
Augmentations!

A late industrial age group dedicated to technological advancement and modification.

This mod adds a new faction following a favor system much like the empire royalty titles but is under the flavor of democracies or republics! Your typical royal titles are instead democratic titles such as "militia," "Senator," "representative," and various flavors of "Governor." Additionally, these roles do not have the room nor throne room requirements as their royal counterparts as these are more servant leader style titles.

As for additions for the player? Well we have a very large collection of implants. Whether you want to switch out your muscles, install a power core, or increase your skills with neural implants, we have all you modification needs covered.

Be aware, the empire does still have a monopoly on psylinks so you either need to side with the empire (and be enemies with augmentoids) or steal them.

*Note: I have my "New World Core" listed as required but it is not actually required at this point in time, I've done so to ease concerns about bloat*







Special note on the nuclear power core: You must have the Augmentoid strength muscles installed as a pawn would otherwise be unable to carry the extra weight















I am also open to suggestions for new implants and generally ideas to spice up "Augmentoids" so its more unique.

@Latex Santa I can see about writing more lore for the faction, sure. It may be a bit though as I got a trip coming up. I'll update this page when I got it though

For whatever reason the Augmentoid Skin and Muscles implants added by this mod seem to have almost every body part tagged to be replaced when implanted, leaving any pawn with said implants without a head/brain/skull, arms, legs, or any parts attached to those. They are still able to function without these parts due to the implants technically "replacing" the function of those parts, but it is pretty unnerving to see a pawn completely headless functioning normally, though this presumably isn't intended to happen. Otherwise really interesting mod, I'd really like to see this get fixed!

There is a message complaining that the lack of a mechanoid hive faction will cause problems for SOS2, but otherwise no.

Alright so, in that case I presume you are getting a devlog that says the mechanoid faction isn't spawning? I seem to be unable to replicate the issue
