Just wanted to say this took me like 4 days to make! I really hope y'all like it!

In the early 2000s to late 2000s there was a big demand for gensets across America. Almost every class 1 railroad in the country was rebuilding old geeps into gensets. These include Norfolk Southern, BNSF, Union Pacific and CSX. GRE also wanted to start making gensets, however the company took a diffrent approach. Instead of using old geeps they used older Husky H4-265es. The official designation for these gensets is the H4-265egs, but most people call them a/an h4gs for short. Unlike most gensets the flaws were more worked on (main thing was to fix the engines from over heating, resulting in catastrophic failure if the engine did over heat.) After lots of testing the results seemed promising so they decided to put it to a real test. GRE started a rebuild program, if a railroad of any size had an old husky H4-265e it could be converted into a H4-265egs. The program helped lots of class 3 railroads get access to a somewhat modern locomotive. The program was major success as the H4gs was reliable, cheap, and efficient.
