Romeo, oh Romeo, where art thou?

Good morning. Earlier today a pair of Romeo class Soviet submarines were detected transiting the Denmark straits. We contact the Soviets to inquire as to their unannounced arrival, yet they remained suspiciously silent. We assume therefore the submarines are either part of a mutiny or are involved in KGB operations.
A NATO patrol vessel has also been reported missing in the same area we suspect the submarines to be transiting. RN command has dispatched 3 C-class destroyers to intercept the submarines, with the USN vectoring in a P-3 and the Norwegians sending in a freshly commissioned corvette. This corvette is of great importance to the Norwegian navy and it would cause a row if it was to be sunk during this mission.
Your objectives are therefore to identify the submarines and destroy them if they fire upon you while keeping the Corvette intact. The only additional complication is that while we do know the subs are heading north west, we cannot ascertain their exact position and you have been brought in to their approximate location.
