Zero to Hero

Description
This Mod does a few things

1. It directly (moderately) nerfs the majority of Alliance-era vessels for the NR
2. It directly (moderately) buffs the majority of newer vessels researched, and granted, for the NR as time progresses
3. It sets the tactical unit cap to 3000 (will be changed in the future w/ future updates)
4. Directly alters the text files of several vessels to give them an accurate description of their new stats
5. Gives other (PLAYABLE) factions a couple counters to the more advanced NR vessels
6. Alters the research date of the Mediator/Heavy carrier units for the NR allowing significantly earlier access, even more so than the dedicated mod to it.

This mod is currently in its ALPHA lvl launch phase, please report any bugs in the comment section or anything of interest. This mod is a passion project, so plz dont be harsh :D

Future things to do

1. Directly alter star-fighter STATS
2. Potentially alter ground unit stats
3. Give other (PLAYABLE) factions a way to counter the stronger NR
4. Fix bug issues as they arise
5. Add more ships to the NR roster (once I figure out how to do that)
6. (IF necessary) tone down the level of improvements to NR vessels
7. Re-assign unit values to units that have been altered

Current counters to the NR
EMPIRE - The ISD-2 has had a significant DPS buff with its main battery now firing at a rate of 1.5 seconds
CSA- All ships in the Ship Market have had their probabilities boosted considerably

Thanks to the developers of EAWX FOC and Thrawns Revenge for making mods like this possible! Go check out some of their other mods as well!

Thanks to you, whoever is out there, for downloading this mod and enjoying it and giving me feedback, so I can continue to produce mods for TR, FOTR, Revans Revenge, (when it releases), the base game and other mods!

I apologize for the delay of the beta release of this submod; a tragedy has occured.... corrupted flies... I have managed to move past them but for whatever reason I cannot update this particular submod any longer. Instead I will (soon) create a submod called Zero to Hero 2.0 which will be a replica of this submod, and contain the updates I was hoping to implement, and a few more.

@BroncoXeno2035 I am planning on doing either 1 of 2 things - Either adding a CIS ship or 2 to the NR (like thr providence dreadnought or the smaller providence) b/c those are my fav ship lol. Or I might just do a different mod where I entirely replace one of the factions roster w/ a CIS roster

What new ships do the NR get?

There's no way it should be 17 GB. You should only copy the files from the main file (Thrawn's Revenge one) that you edit for your submod, not use the main file as your submod. Once you do that, make sure to use the Submod_text in the Text file to edit the descriptions of units and then once you're done editing, save and use the alphabetize_and_build batch file to make it work ingame.

Notepad++ or VS CODE are great tools to use for editing as they can help you find errors. For VS CODE, I recommend the compare file extension and XML Tools though, it's harder to use than Notepad++. For notepad++, I recommend downloading the most recent version then get the themes and plugin admin. After that, you can find themes online (optional, but I think it helps a lot with differentiating the text and code. Get ones that doesn't strain your eyes) and then get extensions like XML Tools, Multiline replacement and XML Syntax checker.
