Silkworm takedown

Description
Iran has conducted several attacks on Iraqi and Neutral oil tankers in recent months. Whilst little real damage has occured a carrier strike group has been ordered to the area. Orders are to strike the Silkworm missile sites SSE of Bushehr. Air defences are known to be present but beyond that little resistance is expected.

It should be noted that Bushehr houses a major iranian airbase however and the regime can be quite unpredictable, should you come under air attack you may strike this target too. Iranian patrol boats are not expected but can be engaged should they appear. Commercial traffic has begun avoiding the area but some civillian ships and aircraft are still known to be in the area of operations.

There is a high degree of variability in this scenario whilst the most likely outcome is that Iran will accept the strikes and avoid further escalation it has a number of options available to make things tricky for the player instead.

Thanks for the feedback guys, only had it turn really complex for me once when 2 separate groups of surface ships and 2 groups of aircraft tried to interfere. Perhaps I should increase some of the percentages a touch...

Nice simple mission, but i'd really love to see a similar style mission with some more complexity, more targets etc. Would make the flight management more challenging and satisfying

This Stealth17 tutorial from today helps a bit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS7yrEpQ-Jk&t=905s

Anyway, enjoyed the mission, good fun - some of the others on here are way too long!

It does seem to do weird things with folders, the lack of any documentation for modders is not helping but it is early access. Hopefully these things will get smoothed over. Thanks to the guys providing help.

I got this working by going into the folder that the workshop creates - Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1286220\3365222750 - and creating a new folder "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1286220\3365222750\missions" and moving the mission .ini into that.

I guess this may break if you update the mod. It displayed twice in game (two copies of the mission in the mod?) however for now it worked fine and I was able to play - thanks for sharing!

(I copied an example that I knew worked from a Stealth17 mission)

I got it working by copying the mission file and putting it into seapowers mission folder

You could also ignore my last as I have updated the mod which will hopefully fix the issue.

Despite me being sure I used the right folder and knowing that it does work some people try the steps mentioned in the link below. If still no joy get back to me.

Will have a look into this, sure I read in the modding section that some folk have this issue with mods.
