After transiting through the Suez Canal TF-68 of the 6th Fleet, finds itself stuck between a rock and a hard place. A recent coup in Egypt has elevated hardline clerics that are intending to align Egypt with Iran, rewriting the balance of power in the Middle East. Eager to establish their newfound power, the new government has decided to try to sink the taskforce. With the canal now blocked and only a portion of the task force having made it through the Suez, TF-68 must now run the gauntlet of the Egyptian Navy and Air Force to break out deeper into the Red Sea Ocean where it can link up with the 5th Fleet.
