hello everybody here is a tutorial how to install the HL2 Physgun

1.download the dlls and and put them in \Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2_complete\bin

2.make sure to have the custom folder I have linked

3.have fun

and since the steam workshop isn't working but with the menu here is a download link for the latest custom file


my updated custom folder[mega.nz]



make sure to put the menu folder inside of C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\custom
and still bind q +toggle_spawnmenu to get the menu to show

Finally got it to work, there are several versions of half life with another version called "complete" Guide does not specify where exactly to place important files, you can choose the wrong one as it does not specify exactly. So people need to be SURE that they are placing it in the right half life version.

huh, there's no autoexec in half life 2 folder... i reinstalled and verified files and it doesn't show up. Is half life 2 supposed to have an autoexec? if so then how is it not showing up when i reinstall?!

sorry for the late response, what did instead of you crazy cat is i tried to use q instead of i, additionally the main reason this number files were for was the autoexec.cfg. I followed the instructions of the guide. What you did is way different. I Will try it tho.

Salt, I followed the "How to install guide" instructions
and used the command > bind "I" "+toggle_spawnmenu" <
and added it to autoexec.cfg for myself

and in the messages below, from "暮天MT" 21 jan , I fixed the sounds from the pistol (I have a mod for the Oldschool Beretta 92FS, but the sounds were fixed for him, from the mod files)
