Originally an entry in Run Think Shoot Live's Hammer Cup 2016, BacktrackVille, Sweep is a single level which takes place in a flooded train station and features custom Faceposer choreography and voice.

I am the original author of this work.

I enjoyed the train solution, reminded me of Half-Life 1. The muck when you first meet the guardian was really terrible though and frustrating, having maybe patches you could run on may be nice but overall fun short jaunt.

Baiting the Antlion Guard isn't the problem, its his damn habit of spawning reinforcements to scare you off the tracks when the train is about to come?! The ai isn't that altered much but at least limit the amount of antlion reinforcements instead of UNLIMITED?!

Antlion spam with no weapons is crazy.


On a serious note, this map was pretty fun. The best part of the map was definitely running over the antlion guardian with the train.

Nevermind, it was the script extender mod that caused the voice issues

The Vortigaunt lines play for me but it seems other people are having issues. I noticed that the game can get a bit odd if you load multiple custom maps in a row: if you're having audio issues, try restarting your game.

Despite being eight years-old I found this to be a fun little map to play through.
