Description
Arctic Rumble was another short map I made shortly after making Trek To Borealis, which features more arctic environments and combat.

Gordon has been tasked to infiltrate a combine outpost built on a snowy cliffside using some new citizen tech which lets you remotely teleport to selected locations

Fight your way inside, overheat the generators powering the combines new teleporters, and get into the main core to shut it all down!


Features 15-20 Minute gameplay depending on playstyle

i wish that overheating the generator were a more interesting mechanic (or puzzle) than just pressing a button, even tho the arctic environment was nice as a change, map is really blocky,
it looks like a hl1 map and fighting only combine is dull, (except using props against hunters), finally it ends so abruptly and is even shorter than other mods i saw for maping competitions.

i will for sure try trek to borealis, but this one really suffered from that deadline.

the sequence that im going through is
-press button
-fight combine
-fight hunters
-nothing happens
