Description
Commander,

Tensions with the Soviet Union have reached a critical point. Earlier today, a U.S. destroyer enforcing the Cuban Quarantine was sunk by a torpedo from a Soviet Foxtrot-class submarine. The world is now teetering on the brink of war.

Your orders are clear:

Find and neutralize the Soviet submarine responsible for the attack. It is believed to be hiding in the shallow waters near Cuba. Exercise caution—further escalation could lead to a catastrophic conflict.
Protect the carrier task force at all costs. It is the cornerstone of our operations in the region.
Intercept and halt the Soviet convoy heading for Cuba. These transports are carrying critical missile components.
Rules of Engagement:
We are not yet at war with the Soviet Union. Engage their forces only if necessary to protect U.S. lives, enforce the quarantine, or neutralize imminent threats. Under no circumstances should nuclear escalation occur.

Intelligence:

The offending submarine is likely a Foxtrot-class operating in shallow waters near the blockade zone.
A Soviet convoy, escorted by Kotlin-class destroyers and a patrol boat, is approaching Cuba from the southeast.
Cuban-based MiG-21s and Tu-95 Bear reconnaissance aircraft may provide air support for Soviet forces.

Mission Objectives:

Neutralize the Soviet submarine without triggering further conflict.
Block the Soviet convoy from reaching Cuban ports.
Protect your assets and minimize casualties.
The fate of the free world rests on your leadership. Execute your mission with precision and restraint.

Good luck, Commander.
