You better believe it - a SFX mod that does exactly this, what a surprise.

This is my attempt at replacing most of HL2's sounds with HL1, having in mind something like 'what if there wasn't enough budget for new sounds' or something like that, or just use classic sounds for a modern-esque-looking game. This is only for the funs though.

Perhaps I'll update it further in case there's more to replace.

Please report bugs if you encounter any and make sure to load into a map first, this mod may not work at first if you've just booted up HL2.
