I will look into it. I did want to add mines but didn’t planned the deadline so it is just there.

i also apparently cant even close comments myself. its "!-->" not "-->"

sorry dev

oh wow i already talked about this. LMAO. I saw this error again and assumed it was in the soviet mod, not the british one.

yeah for those of you wondering: the problem xml seems to reference the soviet mod mines, and left an open comment that blocks all but the single <Defs> tag...which means the closing </Defs> tag is also hidden. this causes the error.

two ways to fix this is to remove the open comment, and have duplicate calls to the soviet mines, no biggie, or just before </Defs>, close the comment.

or in theory remove the xml all together since it doesnt seem to do anything anyway, but idk if i'd play that gamble since im not the dev. it might be anchored to something or something.

Just a heads-up - since the mod apparently is still throwing the xml-parsing error - and 1.6 will probably be way more strict with errors like this, so not to say if that might soon cause more severe consequences than just erroring. I 'fixed' the file in a recent troubleshoot over on the Community Discord, so feel free to grab it there if you still haven't figured out how to close a comment in xml: https://discord.com/channels/214523379766525963/1391867332757819494/1391871819136635062

Yes, I do not know how to close it. It only appears when you use CE though, it means that the 'patch' is working. It also do only appear once and never affect the gameplay except two red lines. Sorry for the inconvenience but you can look over it.

its the very first line btw

hello dev! i was wondering if you knew an unclosed comment in your buildings_security xml would cause a parsing error? i was going through my mods clearing console errors and found this mistake...at least i think it was a mistake, anyway.

i simply closed it off and no longer seem to have a parsing error

Aye, cheers mate! Take it slow though, when that time comes. Don't burn yourself out.
