COMRADE COMMANDER,

The destruction of the USS Nimitz has shattered NATO's carrier strike capability in the North Atlantic. With their fleet in disarray, the time has come to strike at the heart of their remaining regional power. Reykjavik, a vital hub for NATO operations, must be neutralized.

NATO is weakened, but they are not defeated. Reykjavik remains a critical link in their supply and operational chain. Its strategic importance ensures they will fight desperately to maintain control. Your task is to enforce a naval blockade and cripple their defensive infrastructure.

OBJECTIVES:
• Uphold a naval blockade of Reykjavik:
• Prevent any vessel larger than a fishing boat from entering or leaving the port.
• Engage and neutralize any hostile ships attempting to challenge the blockade.

• Destroy key military infrastructure near Reykjavik:
• An airfield to the southeast of Reykjavik that poses a threat to our aerial operations.
• An oil depot north of the airfield is serving as a refueling point for their aircraft and naval assets.

FORCES ASSIGNED:
• A Slava-class missile cruiser.
• A Kara-class missile cruiser
• Two Sverdlov-class light cruisers.
• Two Alligator-class landing ships.
• A Krivak-I-class and A Krivak-II-class frigate.
• Two Nanuchka-class missile boats.
• Two Tu-16 bombers are en route from the northeast.
