Description
Most in the Resistance know about the terrifying power of the Overwatch Pulse Sniper Rifle used by the many Combine Snipers positioned throughout City 17, but not many know of the failed prototype that was to become the second version of the same rifle. While the Combine no longer have a use for it, it has been adopted as the precision weapon for rebel cells that have found working models.

My take on a reanimation for the Sniper Rifle from the (no longer) canceled HL2 mod, VANCE. I thought it would be a nice replacement for the crossbow, so I rigged it on default HL2 arms and gave it a working set of anims. Let me know what you guys think.

just nitpicking here but I feel like the hand pulling the charging handle should be more tilted, like how you pull an AK charging handle, because it works with Vance handmodels but with the HL2 handmodels it looks like Gordon is gently pulling it with the tip of his fingers

I know there is a mod on gamebanana which has all the vance weapons ported to MMod, including this sniper. Here's the link. [gamebanana.com]

Well shit which is funny because the hitscan mod you linked with this mod work with mmod so it would be a killer combo if you added support with mmod to this mod
