Gulf of Aden

A fictional tanker escort scenario in the Gulf of Aden, very loosely inspired by recent events and the Strait of Hormuz mission from the base game. Includes a lot of randomization, meaning difficulty can vary from walk in the park to somewhat challenging. Use of time compression is advised as there can be long stretches without enemy contact.

Commanding a US Navy Task Force and the German destroyer Mölders, escort three allied tankers through the Gulf of Aden. Protect them from the Iranian Navy operating in the gulf based out of Yemen. Expect threats from FACs, Frigates and shore-based anti-ship missiles. Beware the large amount of civilian traffic in the Gulf. To win, at least two of the tankers must reach the destination.


NOTE: Iraqi flag used for civilian vessels due to lack of a Yemeni one.
