okay so of 6 people who ever told me what map they would want, 3 of them talked about Poland so next one is poland.

Since its demo, you definitely can subscribe to me to not miss the release!

(old words) The map needs 140 mb of memory even if its just plain piece with some random houses probably because it based on another my map. i belive its some cache data from that map or smth like that. i hope it wont be much bigger when i will do relief things.

I really wanted to make this map in Unity instead of ingame map editor so i will have more potential but the potential it have is apparently too high for me.

like, its much less mobile than ingame editor, i need to make ALL the things myself when in Ingame i have textures i know, canon assets of same quality etc. perhaps i am biased about ingame editor. but its only top of an iceberg.

last time i used unity is when i was making game for a school project and it was hell because im a kind of person who strive for learning all the things only themselves, like, i was encountering programming, 3d model making, even making of basic ost and sounds like this first time and most of the time i didnt know how to make a thing watching some guide only after a lot of time of suffering passes. and im still want to be like this and to this moment just the sight of unity ui giving me ptsd lol.

its okay if the most big terrain model i could have is 2048x2048m, its okay to not have choice of skybox because there is mutators, its okay to not have possibility to take some assets from somewhere because all my assets should be done by me to be in same style, primitive style of original Ravenfield maps and weapons. And i just get used to this editor so much that its easier for me to use this instead of Blender programm. Anyway, i should have things low-poly to prevent map being hard to handle for computers so i dont need most of model manipulation functions it have.

okay so i can do detailed and fun maps even in ingame editor. i just feel like i am losing potential using it but i try to convince myself that its just my self-deprecating thoughts(and its actually like this. editor is cool thing. not only for novices).. thank you for listening gibberish.

but there is also obvious problem of making things with primitives in ingame editor: i cant remove collision model of objects so they all make computer work more with collision calculations even if some blocks half-inside other objects. So before this map i did little tests and found some assets of ingame editor that dont have collision and look normal to use for building some houses, decorations etc. i hope it will really optimise the map in the end.
