Description
Yes it really is 2D although the world model is 3D for simplicity sake. This is really crudely implemented as when you look up, down or to the side it breaks the illusion.

its sad theres almost no 2d weapons,the viewbob and how the weapon moves when u move ur camera is extremely cool and unique even though its a png,it looks kinda cool and i wish there were more 2d stuff

May bring undesirable results though, like the sprites clipping or you can see where they cut off.

I have no solution to this issue as I don't think you can manipulate the camera other then turning your fov up or your viewmodels fov up. If I did it would likely be out of my knowledge as I am unsure of Sources engine code and whatnot. If you still want to play like this you can! But you also could try and turn your viewmodels fov up in the console like this "viewmodel_fov", followed by your desired number.

The sprites are REALLY close to the camera, like I can only see the top of the barrel.
