Treeman Siege Boulders (Wood Elf Artillery)

Description
Gives Treemen a boulder to smash down walls like in LOTR, siege of Isengard!

IF THIS MOD FAILS TO SHOW IN CA'S MOD MANAGER, Use Prop Joes' Mod Manager[github.com] OR This
version of the mod<link>.

Normal treemen (NOT lords) and malicious treemen have a ranged boulder attack (stolen from beastman cygor unit) that decimates walls, but is inaccurate vs troops, and only 5 ammo.

It will take down a normal wall in 4 hits.
Balanced so that it's very inaccurate and relatively low damage versus troops (boulder dmg is exactly 30% of weapon strength). Range is 330, so u have to get within tower range, and a sloooow reload so you can't just take free pot shots.


Basically I wanted Treemen to be able to breach walls in sieges, but not really function as artillery.
As such I've not made any other stat adjustments like other GREAT MODS do, other than a minor further 8% weakness to fire (-25% becomes -33%) as a nod to balance.
This is in an effort to keep the mod as minimal and as compatible as possible. Same reason it is only for normal units, not lords.

Does effect Highelf Treemen and Drychas' varient.

The mod isn't showing up in launcher's modlist. I tried to un- and resubscribe but it didn't affect anything.

@pfleger, Yes, the mod is updated to the current patches updated tables.

Got a crash report said invalid database record in land_unit_table, I rolled back to 6.05 to dodge the current disaster, is it related?

ya i was debating switching to a 3rd party launcher im finding CA's is becoming quite laggy lately but i don't usually use more then a handful of mods so its not been much of an issue personally.

About the mod not appearing in the mod list in the default launcher. That usually happen to mods that are uploaded with a third party launcher. That can only be fixed by reuploading it as a brand new mod I think.

If you use a lot of mods you should seriously use one of the third party launcher/mod manager like the one Neil linked in the comment. It make managing large mod list much easier.

ya same problem as 战术搅屎棍. doesn't work on for me either, couldn't seem to find it in my mod list in my files either so not sure about this one. Does anybody have it functioning in their game?
