Open and Eat Canned Food

Description
Overview
Open and eat canned food with one click. Works in multiplayer. No idea how this mod hasn't been created already.

How It Works
As long as you have a can opener in your inventory, then you will have an option to right click on any canned food item to open and eat. Your can opener will be returned to whichever container it came from.

Compatibility
This mod is compatible with the Common Sense mod. I haven’t run into any compatibility issues with any mods yet, but if you have any issues then let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Translations
Right now this mod is only available in English, but if you want to translate into your own language then you're welcome to submit a pull request on GitHub.[github.com]

Known Issues
When selecting an item on the ground, your character will put the item back on the ground before picking it up and eating it.

Probably once build 42 is closer to release is when I'll work on it. I mostly play multiplayer, so I haven't had much motivation to work on it yet

You do have to be still to open the can, but you can move while eating. I didn't change any of the vanilla behavior in that regard, but I'm considering adding it as an option in a further release

Does the character have to be still when opening the can? I hate when I'm on my run and then it gets hungry when doing chores and/or killing zeds, cant stop to open it, should be on the move!

for some reason it works now after restarting. I THINK that maybe with geforce now it didnt work cause each time you open it the mods get loaded from scratch?

I tried it on a local machine now and it still doesnt work. might be an incompatibility. If you send me a PM I can send you my list of mods

Interesting, I'll keep an eye out for similar reports. This is the first I've heard of this issue, though. I wonder if maybe it's some kind of mod compatibility issue, although I haven't heard of anything like that happening so far.

build 41. Playing with geforce now though, not sure if that might be the reason. Added it to an existing save.
