Description

The air around them sparkles as the ambient magic carried on the wind becomes attuned to their subtle vibrations. A soft glow builds beneath their eyelids. Then, in one smooth motion, the Swordmaster draws their weapon and holds the blade before them.

This lore-friendly mod adds the passive ability Attuned to Magic to Swordmasters of Hoeth.

It makes their melee attacks Magical, and gives them 10% damage resistance, as long as your Winds of Magic are over 15. This subtle change makes them the melee equivalent of Sisters of Avelorn in the High Elves roster.

It is compatible with everything.

@Stale Memes It's not a bad idea. I might make a new mod to add the passive to Loremasters, so people can choose whether to use one or the other, or both.

Good addition. I'm unfortunately not well-versed in High Elf peculiarities and tabletop rules for them, but wouldn't it make sense to extend this ability to Loremasters of Hoeth heroes as well? They are functionally identical to Swordmaster units unless I'm mistaken and they can't bestow themselves with magic attacks through their spell selection either, nor do they seem to have them by default.
