In 1987, in order to shift domestic conflicts, the Soviet Politburo decided to mobilize national efforts to expand to Western Europe. On September 4, 1987, despite the advance precautions of European countries, the steel flood of the Soviet Union still surged towards the West unstoppable. The Soviet Navy, which was on par with the US Navy, also launched attacks everywhere, destroying NATO's naval and air forces.
