Description
DayZ Mod Description
Enhance the DayZ animal skinning system with customizable behavior through JSON configuration files.

Key Features
1. Knife Categories
Legendblade: Most effective knives
Good: High-quality knives
Medium: Average knives
Bad: Least effective tools
Each category includes a customizable list of knives and their impact on unique drops.

2. Loot System
Standard Items: Meat, bones, fat, etc.
Unique Items: Rare medals, relics with low drop chances.
Loot depends on the knife used and its category.

3. Dangerous Animals
After skinning an animal, there’s a chance for predators (e.g., wolves or bears) to spawn.

Configurable Parameters:
- Spawn probability
- Minimum and maximum spawn radius

4. Full Customization
JSON configuration allows you to:
- Add new animal types with unique loot
- Define item quantity, quality, and drop chances
- Adjust knife efficiency and behavior
- Configure predator spawn behavior

5. Automatic Processing
If the animal is not found in the configuration, the game defaults to vanilla behavior.
All settings are automatically loaded when the server starts.

6. Optimization and Logging
The mod validates configurations and logs key processes for easy debugging.

Benefits

This mod adds depth and realism to DayZ, encouraging players to use appropriate tools and rewarding them with unique drops during animal skinning. The risk of dangerous predators increases the challenge, making hunting more engaging and immersive.

can i choose what will drop on an animal,for exemple,i want when i cut a bear,that drop a turntable?is possible?

Dear administration, the update will resolve the issue with fish, rabbits, and other animals. However, knife damage will now be standardized to 12 points. If your mod previously caused knives to lose half their durability during cutting, please note that the vanilla value (12 points) will now be applied. We kindly ask you to consider this to avoid disrupting your economy.

Hello, when we skin animals on something elevated above the ground, the items don't spawn near us but instead on the ground. If the building or platform is tall, they spawn inside it and become inaccessible. This issue is especially problematic in customized areas or on the roofs of vanilla buildings. Is there any chance you could fix this?
