Star Wars Mines

Description
You ever wanted to turn the tide of battle with an explosive surprise? Or maybe stop a seperatist tank dead in its tracks? Well, now you can!
This addon comes with two mines and respective sweps for placing them. Both are generic and fit any Star Wars era. Due to my constraints on a selection of models, I couldn't create any lore accurate mines. If you can model and want to create quality models for new mines, then hit me up.

Anti-Personnel Mine
  • small spherical trigger and explosion radius
  • triggers on players and npcs
  • no restrictions on the angle of the surface

Anti-Vehicle Mine
  • detects vehicles above it
  • large explosion radius
  • triggers on Gmod, HL2 and LVS vehicles
  • can only be placed at a max angle of 10°

Note: All SWEPS have their own ammo types. You probably want some way of replenishing their ammo.

For Developers
This addon contains a base for mines. It is however not yet very matured. Beware that changes may be done to the base. Otherwise feel free to use it.

Some features include:
  • two different brushes for trigger areas
  • different behaviour variables for triggering and sounds
  • some functions you can overwrite (ask me if you want specific ones to be added)
  • some behaviour variables for the swep

Known Issues
  • The trigger area for the Anti-Vehicle Mine is sometimes larger than intended. However it should still damage the vehicle. Also it doesn't rotate with the mine itself and always points up.
  • The view model of the sweps sometimes has missing bones, which leads to errors and a hl2 granade appearing. I couldn't find the cause for this issue yet.

They can. Are you sure you are actually hitting them? Maybe you got some code running that prevents them from taking damage?

They cannot be destroyed by shots.

So far I haven't planned on adding a defusal feature. You couldn't even get close enough to the Anti-Personnel Mine before it explodes. Shooting them is your best defusal method.
But maybe I will get a good idea and add a defusal feature at a later time.
