Philippine Island Patrol - Sandbox Mission

This mission was designed to be a sandbox with random encounters. Each time the mission is played there is a chance that you will encounter different enemies. Possible threats include aircraft, warships, fast attack boats, and a submarine. MISSION: US Naval Task Force 58.1 is on patrol in the Bohol Sea in the heart of the Philippine Islands. Its goal is to reach the northern part of the island chain and eliminate any hostile threats along the way. The area is dense with civilian vessels, so care must be taken not to inflict civilian casualties. Chinese forces have moved into Philippine waters in an attempt to disrupt local fishing and maritime trade operations.
