X Rebirth Weapons

Description
DISClAIMER:
This is my first attempt at modding X4 Foundations so DO NOT expect things to be perfect as I'm still learning.
All credits goes to egosoft.

What it Adds:
This mods add most of the turrets and shields from X-Rebirth to X4, while also porting the original models of said components. These components are ONLY available for L and XL ships

Change notes:
This mod is now incompatible with any mod that alters the //Properties/loadouts sections in the macros.xml of the K and I.

Version 1.1 Adds 3 new Xenon turrets and also changes the loadout for the Xenon K and I. The K is now equipped with the new turrets and it also uses the new MK2 shields like they did in XR while the I uses the MK3 variant.

The previously added weapons in ver 1.0 now are sold by the Antigone, Argon, Buccaneers, Hatikvah, and Scaleplate. The use-threshold on all the previous weapons was also adjusted down to 0.4 increasing the chances of the AI faction equipping them on their ships.

3 M Shields (Force Field Projector Mk1, Mk2, Mk3)

This version is currently balanced for Vanilla. (NOT REALLY they broken)

Fixes:

- Fixed missing con_name in component XMLs of the M Turrets causing the turrets to disappear after reloading the save file.

ok an addendum, i can buy and mount L-class plasma/ma, but not M-class plasma/ma, and i also noticed if this mod is installed npc shipyards full of resources show list of ships in production but they're stalled. presumably the game is "ordering" npc ships built with m-class plasma/ma and its clogging up the shipyards since m-class plasma/ma is "not available".

got this mod really for the plasma jet so never noticed until now that that i show 2 plasma/ma entries in the encyclopedia yet i can't find any shipyard or equipment dock where i can purchase them. have seen npc ships carry them but now i've got a argon-xenon mission to assemble a fleet and one of the requirements behemoth requirements is the plasma/ma which isn't available. has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

@Mad Dawl. For the mod itself I don't have much left to add to it. Only thing I'm missing are, Missile Launcher, PMC HIVI/MA and the Targon Tracer for the HIVI. After that just balance it and make a VRO version of it. I could make the weapons from the Skunk but creating custom models takes time and I'm busy with school atm.

I think, a slight debuff on dmg, and locking it to Argon Military rank 20, should aleviate the trouble of everyone using it, quite a bit. Then it would mostly only be the big Argon Cap ships flying around with them. In comparison, I've seen this before with mod simply called "Weapon Pack" where the weapons are also beefed up. It resulted in 90% of all ships using those weapons and vanilla weapons nearly never being encountered. It's a Vanilla AI ship design issue. Smart NPC's? xD

@Mad Dawl Whoopsies I'm working on the Targon Tracer now but I will numb down the values a bit later. The HIVI and JET/LR are still gonna be a bit OP cuz that's how they used to be XR tho.

I don't know if you are open to feedback.
But these weapons are very, very far from balanced to vanilla..
I found the Socottra from SVE mod, wielding a near full complement of these weapons, which gave it an average turret output of over 10K damage. *shrug*

I mean.. I'm pretty sure, I can bring this poor ship to Terran space and wipe out the entire faction with no trouble at all.

Perhaps nerf them? Or lock them from factions, who will ALL be using these weapons if they can get them.

Yes, the bullet Fx are the same ones, the Jet lr I nerfed quite a bit but it still melts through stuff rather easily in vanilla

Nice! Do these turrets have all the original VFX from XR? Is the Plasma JET/LR still a instant death sniper beam? :D

That's the default sfx, I didn't alter anything related to that.
