Threat Effects

Description
Inspired by SOMA effects, decided to do something very similar to ones in game.

Description
ThreatEffects mostly adds a single effect - "glitches" on your screen, when threat to your life is present.
These threats include:
  • Recent damage
  • Low health level
  • Small distance to enemy NPCs
  • Very big speed
  • Being very high and close to a break


Configuration
The individual factors and variables can be controlled from Q-Menu -> Utilities -> ThreatEffects section
Main options
These options control overall effect options. This includes intensity, speed, factor multipliers and sound volumes.
Fall options
These options control fall-specific effect options, e.g. alarm thresholds, panting and alarm volumes.
Death Effect options
These options control death effect options. This includes screenshots that you allow for effect to use, time between session screenshot capturees, and effect intensity.

the death effect is incredibly cool, great job! when the comments spoke about how scary it was, i was wondering what they meant but then it clicked even before i died. :k8happy:

I love this so much! My only complaint is the Violent NPC threat factor don't seem to work on VJBase npcs.

oh dear lord i got the glitchy effect to randomly blare while i was running through the dark room, killbinded and almost had a heart attack thanks to death effect i didnt know about, this is a freaking amazing mod

I tinkered with it so I'd get the effects on low health, and it worked, but at some point the visual effects aside from screen throb disappeared and the glitches only appear on death.

It'd be nice if there was a restore to default button.

I did not read the description and the death effect scared the actual shit out of me, nearly jumped out of my goddamn skin lmao
