Tensions have reached a boiling point in the Aegean. A territorial dispute over a rocky, barely inhabited island has ignited centuries-old animosities between Turkey and Greece. The latest provocation came when the Turkish Navy intercepted and confiscated a Greek merchant vessel accused of violating contested waters. The ship now is escorted to a Turkish port under the watch of a modest Turkish Coast Guard detachment in Gökova Bay—a symbol of sovereignty to one side, a deep insult to the other.

Your Role:
You are the commanding officer of TCG Çakmak, a Gearing-class destroyer, recently pulled from refit. The ship is a symbol of post-war NATO transfers but also a somber relic, infamous for the friendly fire incident during Operation Attila in Cyprus. Her hull bears scars of history, her systems upgraded but still dated, and her fresh crew—young and green—are untested in the fire of real naval confrontation.
