Description
This mod is based on the Caestus from Dark Souls / Elden Ring. Being a fist weapon for A Hat in Time instead of an Umbrella weapon.

A fistfighter's weapon made from thick straps of leather studded with iron rivets. Fist weapons come in pairs.

Compared to the umbrella, fist weapons are able to have a quicker succession of attacks. However, comes with the cost of melee range & damage.

That said, you do have an ability that can give you the edge in combat.

Weapon Art - Perseverance:
Press 'Camera snap' To assume an unfaltering stance to endure almost any incoming attack for 4 seconds. Doing so will increase your damage negation & grant you an additional melee attack input for the Caestus.

You can customize the skin on the Caestus in the config menu, skins are the following...
  • Caestus (Red)

  • Online party version – This version uses the umbrella moveset. This is due to fist weapons are not able to be currently used online at the moment. Use this option if you want to whack online players with the caestus.

The weapon in this is available right away.

NOTE: Due to the fist weapon type baked into AHiT's code and currently not able to really edit some aspects of the weapon type, some parts of this mod is not intended.

I'm not really in the mood right now to have the Caestus damage coop players and / or make another weapon that is solely decided to hurt coop players

If you really want melee weapons that can hurt local coop players now, these weapon mods below can hurt coop players for normal attacks.


Large Sword of Moonlight Weapon Mod
Gwyn's Greatsword & Great Lord Greatsword Weapon Mod (both versions can hurt coop players)
Greatsword of Artorias (Saint & Cursed) Weapon Mod - (Saint version of the sword only)
Lorian's Greatsword weapon mod


This does not include other weapons mods that i have made, such as some gun mods or some weapons with weapon art abilities that can also hurt coop players.
